Viewing update alerts from the Minibar allows you to access notifications for new grade items, new announcement items and upcoming due dates for uncompleted activities.

Viewing update alerts from the Minibar allows you to access notifications for new grade items, new announcement items and upcoming due dates for uncompleted activities.

Here's How

1. Once you log into D2L, click on the bell icon found on the Minibar at the top right. A red dot shows that you have a new message.
   
2. The Update alerts drop-down list displays the alerts (e.g. "Paper 1" updated. Grade Updated - Dev Course July 12 at 3:15 PM).
   
3. Click on the name of the updated alert (e.g. "Paper 1" updated) to view the details.
