Overview
Adding an image to your profile helps personalize your presence in D2L. Your profile picture appears on the D2L My Home page and in other areas such as Discussions and the Classlist.
Once added, your profile image will display across all your D2L courses. You only need to complete this process once.
Instructors may request that you use a photo of yourself rather than an icon. A head-and-shoulders photo is recommended for best visibility.
Please maintain a respectful learning environment. Images considered inappropriate may be removed.
How to Manage Your Profile Picture
Adding a Profile Picture
- After logging in to D2L, select your name in the top-right corner and choose Profile from the menu.
- Select Change Picture.
- Select Upload, then browse for and select your image file.
- Select Add.
- Review your image. If it appears correctly, select Save and Close. To choose a different image, repeat the process.
Deleting a Profile Picture
- After logging in to D2L, select your name in the top-right corner and choose Profile.
- Select Remove Picture (located next to the Change Picture option).
- Select Remove to confirm, or Cancel to keep your current picture.
