Overview
The D2L system enforce a size limit per email message.
Maximum Email Size
When sending email through the D2L system, please keep in mind that message sizes are limited. The maximum size of an email (including attachments) is 600KB. If attachments are used, the maximum size of an attachment is 500KB. For example, if you draft an email that is a 150KB and then attempt to add a 500KB attachment, the result will be a total message size of 650KB.This is too big and the D2L system would prevent the email from being sent.
Note: Emails that are larger than either the attachment or total message size limit should be sent using your OCC student email account, or if you are a student worker you may send a larger email using your OCC staff email account.
