Adding Preferred Pronouns

Overview

Students, faculty, and staff have the option to indicate their preferred pronouns in their D2L user profiles. D2L user profiles are visible to individuals enrolled in shared D2L course sites, including students, faculty, supplemental instructors (SIs), and tutors.

Instructions

To add your preferred pronouns to your D2L profile, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to D2L (opens in new tab).
  2. Select your user profile icon located in the upper-right corner of the homepage.

  3. Select Account Settings.

  5. Select the radio button for Use different pronouns.

  6. Enter your preferred pronouns in the text box provided.

  7. Select Save and Close at the bottom of the D2L window.
