Okta Multi-Factor Authentication Reset For Students

Tags Reset Okta MFA

Overview:

Okta MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to student logins by requiring multiple forms of verification.

You will need to reset your Okta MFA and follow the below steps if any of the following apply:

  • Getting a new device.
  • Getting a new phone number.
  • The Okta app has desynced from your Okta MFA account.

If you are unable to sign into your MyOCC or your Okta account due to an Okta issue, first make sure your phone number is up to date on your student record.
