Software Remote Access – Student HTML

Omnissa provides users a secure, encrypted connection for remote access to virtual desktops and applications from various devices. These steps will connect you to your virtual desktop through workspace.oaklandcc.edu.

**NOTE** OCC Virtual Desktop sessions are refreshed at logoff/disconnect and any files saved locally will be lost. OCC recommends saving all files either to your Google Drive or to a flash drive, not the OCC virtual desktop. The USB drive sharing through HTML does not work on MacOS devices.   1. Open a web browser on a computer and go to workspace.oaklandcc.edu
     
  2. Click Omnissa Horizon Web Client
    ""
     
  3. Enter in your OCC username
    Your OCC username is before the @ symbol in your email address
    Click Next
    ""
     
  4. Verify with Okta multi-factor authentication method and enter your OCC password
    Click Verify
    ""
     
  5. Click the three dots under your pool selection (OCC Student, CIS, CAD) and then Launch from Browser

     
  6. Once you connect, Omnissa Horizon will ask permission to access your Camera, Microphone and Full Screen.
    Click OK on all three prompts
